 COMMUTABLE FROM: Hull, Hessle, Cottingham, Anlaby, Willerby, Barton, Brigg, Brough, North Ferriby, Beverley, Hedon , Goole, Howden, Driffield

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client are a specialist and leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical equipment to the NHS and private sector. They are looking for a Service and Installation Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

 

 YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Must have a UK Driving License
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be qualified in Engineering
  • Must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical
  • Confident fault-finding skills both Electrical and Mechanical
  • Must be happy doing a true field service role with lots of travel and time away from home involved
  • Must be happy to work away from home Monday to Friday
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Confident and proactive approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Great work ethic

 

ROLE INFORMATION: As a Service and Installation Engineer you will be working on various sites across the UK either alone or as part of a small team dependent on the job. The role is varied and will involve Repairs, Installation, Commissioning, Upgrades and PPMs. The role will involve the postholder working away in the week Monday to Friday.

 

DUTIES:

  • Carry out maintenance and servicing on a broad range of equipment, including fault finding, diagnosis and repair
  • Carry out mechanical installations
  • Carry out wiring of electrical panels and panel building
  • Read electrical drawings
  • Working towards achieving a first-time fix
  • Health and safety and Environmental awareness
  • Site surveys and installation checks
  • Develop and maintain high engineering standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and comply with all on-site procedures
  • Complete all necessary documentation as required
  • Ensure all tools, PPE and equipment is in good working order, reporting any problems with your line manager
  • Providing both Reactive and PPM maintenance
  • Ability to work away and overseas where required for the needs of the business
