JOB TITLE:  Systems Integration Technician

COMMUTABLE FROM:  North Yorkshire – Commutable from; York, Pickering, Ripon, North Yorkshire, Northallerton, Malton, Scarborough

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £29,700 per annum (reviewed after 3 months) + opportunities for overtime
• 37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm)
• 25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays
• 5% pension

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• ONC/OND in Electrical or Electronics
• 16^th or 17^th edition regulations
• Technical proficiency in electronics/hydraulics
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and basic fault finding skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of continuous improvement procedures
• Able to travel and work offshore

ROLE INFORMATION:

The purpose of the role is to ensure accurate integration of technical aspects relating to ROV vehicles before and during acceptance testing. You will also be providing technical assistance in the field both on and offshore.

DUTIES:

• Perform the commissioning and integration of ROV products
• Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing
• Serve as a field support technician on and offshore
• Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the integration test areas and equipment used
• Interface with the engineering department on test specifications and procedures noting any deviations or discrepancies
• Assist product support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in house testing or fault finding required
• Commission and integrate ROV products to the required standards
• Assist customers and customer representatives at all times
• Pass on any noted deviations or discrepancies to the Integration Supervisor or the Project Engineer.
