My client are a manufacturing company with a state of the art factory based in South Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit an Electrical M/S Maintenance Engineer to work on a 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am and weekend shift (Thursday – Sunday – 6am – 4pm)  ***NO ON CALL***

You must have the following:

  • Must have served an Electrical apprenticeship and have good Electrical fault finding skills
  • Must have Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience and be confident in tackling both mechanical and electrical problems
  • Must be able to work independently and in a small team
  • Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
  • It is essential candidates can work under pressure and work to targets
  • Must have previous experience of PPM


The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical support to the site to ensure maximum utilisation of plant, systems and machinery. They must maintain the company standards of quality, productivity, environmental and health and safety standards at all time.

The company has a wide array of equipment including Drills, Edge Banders, Routers, shrink wrap machines, saws etc.  Experience on other types of machinery will be beneficial. Faults can be both Electrical and Mechanical so the individual must be truly multi-skilled. The role itself will be a mix of both Reactive and Pre-Planned Maintenance.
