JOB TITLE: Mechanical Technical Trainer, Technical Trainer, Mechanical Engineering Trainer, Mechanical Engineering Tutor
COMMUTABLE FROM: Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Brigg, Hull, Barton upon Humber, Gainsborough, Beverley, Hessle, Brough, Goole, Immingham, and Louth
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- £36 000
- Private Pension (7% match)
- 25 days + bank holidays (1 day extra per year up to 30 days + bank holidays)
- Training Development
- Opportunity to progress
- Monday – Friday (8-4)
COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is a well-known training provider in the area that are looking to expand across Yorkshire and the Humber. Currently they are having a major recruitment drive so that they can deliver a wider range of courses to businesses in the local area.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (HNC or HND or Apprenticeship trained)
- Mechanical Industry background with Mechanical joint integrity
- IT literate
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal and written
- Good planning and organisational abilities
- Understanding of training and development and relevant qualification systems
ROLE INFORMATION:
- Deliver engineering skills training programmes with a focus on Mechanical Joint Integrity and Small Bore Tubing
- Facilitate and assist with training programmes and accredited courses
- Work with the Course Co-ordinator to develop training packages including course outlines, lesson plans, schemes of work and Q&A sets
- Attend departmental meetings to report on key activities and performance against objectives
