Salary and Benefits

£26,352 + 33 days holidays including stats + Bonus + Lots of Overtime at time and a half + pension

Company

My client is an award-winning   manufacturer in a specialist and growing market that supply to a range of different industries including Automotive, Plastics, Food and Drink, Steel and Pharmaceutical. The role will be working permanent afternoons Monday-Thursday 1:45pm-10pm and Friday 1:45pm-845pm.

You must have the following:

 

  • You must have some form of manufacturing, assembly or engineering experience
  • MUST BE HAPPY TO WORK A PERMANENT AFTERNOON SHIFT
  • Ability to work to production targets and KPIs
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Must have experience of hand tools
  • Must be able to read Engineering drawings
  • Must take real pride in your work
  • Must have your own transport or live local to Hessle
  • Must be a fast learner
  • Must be able to follow set procedures and guidelines

Role:

The role will involve the assembly of various mechanical components such as brackets, tubes, hydraulics, pneumatics and valves. The candidates will be working from engineering drawings building up sub -assemblies using various hand tools including spanners, ratchets, screwdrivers, torque wrenches and specialist measuring equipment. Due to the specialist nature of the work the sub-assemblies must be built to the finest quality standards and tolerances. The client has various roles across the shopfloor including final assembly, Alignment and RF Department were you will also be cross trained.
