Based in East Yorkshire – Commutable from Barton, Beverley, Bridlington, Cottingham, Driffield, Hedon, Hessle, Hornsea, Hull, Leven, Preston, Scunthorpe, Willerby.

Company
My client is a leading specialist process manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Logistics, Planning and Supply Chain Coordinator. The company are part of a huge multinational group with sites across the globe and their East Yorkshire site has recently had significant investment into the site.
You must have the following:
Previous experience within a Planning, Logistics and Supply Chain Environment
Experience of Stock Control and Order Requisition
Must have excellent working knowledge of Excel and be able to make improvements
Must have experience of ERP or MRP systems
Must be confident in handling multiple sku’s and working to tight lead times
Must have attention to detail and be able to multi-task
Role:
The Planning & Logistics Co-Ordinator will be working in close collaboration with the site Planning, Procurement & Logistics Manager and team of Logistics Administrators. The postholder will be expected to optimise Customer Service and Planning Performance whilst providing reliable and accurate service to the Production, Quality and Finance Teams.
Key Responsibilities
Planning
-Working closely with three Customer Service/Logistic Co-Ordinators and Production to maintain an intricate Demand Plan for Production across two manufacturing facilities incorporating 150+ FG/RM/Packaging SKU’s.
-Monitoring RM/Packaging inventory and usages in line with forecast demand, issuing POs to suppliers against strict lead times ensuring effective control of working capital in line with business policies.
-Building relationships with suppliers and 3PL to ensure minimum disruption to OTIF against challenging supply chains.
-Conducting both internal and external physical stock reconciliations and aligning with reports for both RM and FG in line with Financial Controls.
-Maintaining departmental KPI reporting.
-Development and maintenance of a phased Production schedule aligned to the supply chain demand plan.
-Maintain adequate stock levels aligned to the Production schedule and management of the stock replenishment process to prevent operational stops.
-Maintain regular contact with customers and 3PL to ensure excellent customer service level.
-Accurate documented stock takes carried out daily.
-Support in preparation and input into the weekly planning tools and the SMT operational slide deck.
Supply Chain
-Co-ordinating inbound/outbound RM and FG with suppliers, 3PL and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performances (OTIF) and maintaining cost effective practices.
-Monitoring and booking RM (Goods in) and FG (Outbound)
-Tracking goods from origination point to warehouse/customers.
-Analysing supply chain data and resolving any issues or putting alternative plans in place to suit business needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
-Communicating with suppliers/3PL and ensuring all documents correct and for Export/Importing of RM and FG.
-Maintaining departmental KPI reporting.
