JOB TITLE:  Javascript Developer

COMMUTABLE FROM: Hull, Hessle, Brigg, Barton Upon Humber, Scunthorpe, Goole, Immingham or Nationwide – remote available (Working from home)

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is a leading manufacturer in the UK. They are currently looking for a Javascript Developer to join their expanding IT department.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • At least 2 years’ experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, React, NodeJS, HTML5, Less and Canvas
  • Experience of using Version Control systems such as Git as part of a team
  • A good understanding of maths and an ability to develop complex algorithms
  • Familiar with Linux or Mac OS
  • Understanding of JavaScript programming concepts including mixins, object composition and scope
  • Experience of automated testing
  • Experience using utilities and build tools including Docker, Webpack, NPM, ESLint and Karma
  • Experience with software design patterns such as Flux, AOP and modularity
  • Experience of Agile project methodologies and its impact on iterative design
  • Experience of working in a continuous integration environment
  • Experience of retail and/or manufacturing environments and processes
  • Experience working with AWS and its features

They are recruiting for a JavaScript Developer to join their developing IT department. As a JavaScript Developer, you’ll become an integral part of their development team, working with the latest technology on ground-breaking projects to keep the business at the forefront of their industry. The opportunities within their Technical Hub is huge and have a clear progression path for you to strive towards to increase your salary accordingly.

You will be working on the development and maintenance of their industry leading CAD based planning system which is used by their designers to bring their customers dream to reality, as well as working on the architecture, planning and design of other innovative internal systems used across their manufacturing, transport, installations and customer service departments.

As a JavaScript Developer you have the opportunity to be based remotely or work from their head office.
