Industrial Electrician / Workshop Electrician / Panel Wirer

Commutable from Wetherby, Harrogate, Tadcaster, Thirsk, Otley, Leeds, Skipton, Bradford, Knaresborough, Ripon

Salary and Benefits

6 Month Contract, £15-£20 p/h dependent on experience and whether PAYE or LTD Company basis, days based role 7:30-4:30 Mon to Thurs and Fri 8-12noon , chance to earn overtime at time and a half.

Company Information

My client is a leading firm who supply and manufacture to a wide range of industries including Chemical, Water, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Food Processing, Glass, Paper, and Print. Due to an increase in orders they need to recruit 2 contract workshop electricians.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of working in an Engineering Workshop or Manufacturing
  • Must have experience with Electrical Cabling and Tray work
  • Must have Panel Wiring experience
  • Must have worked with SWA Cables or CY Control Cables


The role will be based in the workshop wiring up various gas control equipment. You will be working from engineering drawings carrying out Electrical Cabling including SWA cables and CY Cable Terminating. You will also be panel wiring between terminals and components within control panels to schematic diagrams. The successful candidate will also be expected to fit electrical components into Control Panels onto back plates
