JOB TITLE: Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Head of Maintenance

 

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Rochester, Maidstone, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Hempstead, Ashford, Aylesford, Sittingbourne, Redhill, Crawley, Oxted, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Croydon and Bromley.

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client is a leading manufacturer in the Yorkshire area that currently have a large number of contracts in place with major retail brands.

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Time served Engineer
  • Previous experience managing and running and engineering department is essential
  • Excellent man management skills
  • Ability to be hands on and Lead from the front
  • Strong reactive maintenance Knowledge
  • Manufacturing Experience is essential

 

ROLE INFORMATION: Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager due to internal promotions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the development of engineers as well as helping to identify areas of improvement on current manufacturing equipment including Capex budget management and project management. Other duties will include writing PPM’s and ensuring this schedule is rolled effectively and maintained.

 

The ideal candidate will have come from being a hands-on Engineer, will look to lead by example, reduce machine downtime, develop junior Engineers and have experience managing teams of up 20 Engineers. This successful candidate needs to be able to cope with a demanding environment, have the ability to problem solve and resolve any issues that may arise.

 

This role would suit an Engineering/ Maintenance Supervisor looking to take the next step.
