JOB TITLE: Design Engineer, NPD Engineer, Product Coordinator, Solidworks Engineer

 

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Anlaby, Beverley, Cottingham, Driffield, Hedon, Hessle, Hull, Skidby, Walkington, Willerby

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a leading organisation that supply various products to the care sector. They work closely with distributors and contractors to help drive quality and innovation. They are looking for a Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • Must have experience working with a Design or Product Development Function
  • Must be proficient in IT and dealing with systems
  • Must be confident in both CAD and Solidworks
  • Attention to detail and be able to work on various projects
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally across other departments and be able to speak to suppliers and manufacturers
  • Passionate about making product changes and improvements
  • An innovative thinker and natural problem solver

 

 

ROLE INFORMATION:

Working hours 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with 30mins lunch break (40-hour week)

 

My client are seeking a dedicated practically minded individual in product development to coordinate new product launches, and be the go to person for any existing product issues and enhancements. The role will be a mix of Autocad and Solidworks in terms of a package.

 

Typical Duties

 

– Co-ordinate new product process from concept through to launch

– Manage product design control log

– Manage product quality issues

– Product design input and amends on CAD

– Product documentation creation

-Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers

– Liaise with other departments on bringing products through to launch
