Job Description

JOB TITLE:  CNC Machinist

 

COMMUTABLE FROM:  Hull, Cottingham, Willerby, Hessle, Beverley, Hedon, Keyingham, Withernsea, Burstwick, Thorngumbald

 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • £13.50 – £16.50 per hour (40 hour working week)
  • Annual £1000 bonus

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is an established local engineering company who specialise in the supply, modification, service and repair of plant machinery.

 

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in both Milling and Lathe Operations
  • Knowledge of imperial and metric measurements
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings
  • Experience in working in a detailed high precision manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances of 0.03mm
  • Detail orientated, flexible and motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

ROLE INFORMATION:

 

  • The company workshop is closely partnered with the hydraulic department as well as being supported by the drawing office. The role will entail manufacturing a range of hydraulic devices for customers up and down the country as well as across the globe. The business design, manufacture, test and paint their own equipment before sending it out into operation.
